Inés Aguilar (1975) and Iván Martínez (1972) two designers from Madrid are behind “la casita de wendy”.

Respectively, they hold diplomas in architecture and philosophy and started designing clothes nine years ago.

Their models are marked by strong use of colours, by original shapes, their star shaped and dotted motifs based on Iberian fairy tales. They have sold their collections in many international stores such as Barneys, Anthropologie in New York, Cocktail in Hong-kong, Matsuya, Rue Charlotte, Mystic, and many more in Tokyo Liborius in Reykiavik, Fenwick in London, ReRePaPa in Athens, Victoire in Paris, PotiPoti shop in Berlin, Suite in Barcelona, Papaya in Madrid etc…

In just a short time, "la casita de wendy" has become one of the most popular brands in Europe with notably Björk who chose some of their outfits for cover spreads for the English magazine "Wire" and French rock magazine "les Inrockuptibles",…

During the past 7 years they have been teachers at the European Institute of Design in Madrid and they have been showing their collections in Barcelona and Madrid Fashion Week, they have also developed some exhibitions during the Paris Fashion Week like: collaboration with Camper in the "Wonderland" Party and "my friends" show in the MODEM gallery.
